Open Kitchen Panel
The Kitchen Panel shows incoming orders grouped for the kitchen team.
- Use a tablet, monitor, or PC in the kitchen - not at the counter.
- Orders appear as tickets with items, quantities, and table/reference info.
- The queue updates as new KOT items are submitted from POS.
Order statuses
Kitchen staff move orders through preparation stages.
- New - ticket just arrived from POS.
- Preparing - kitchen is working on the order.
- Ready - food is ready for pickup or service.
- Delivered - order handed to waiter or collected at counter.
Prep time
Set expected preparation time to help coordinate service.
- Assign prep time when starting an order.
- Helps floor staff know when food will be ready.
