Purpose of KOT
A KOT tells the kitchen which items need to be prepared, separate from ready-made products.
- Tick KOT on cooked or prepared items in the POS cart.
- Skip KOT for pre-packaged items like bottled drinks.
- Each KOT line appears on the Kitchen Panel and can print as a kitchen ticket.
Enable KOT in settings
KOT must be enabled before kitchen workflow is active.
- Turn on KOT Enable.
- Choose Invoice Wise or Inventory Wise depending on your setup.
- Configure kitchen printers under Settings → Printers.
