Opening POS
The POS is the main billing screen for counter, takeaway, and dine-in orders.
- Confirm the correct warehouse (branch) is active before billing.
- Products are grouped by category for quick selection.
- Search by product name or scan a barcode to add items quickly.
- Each sale is recorded against the logged-in user.
Order cart
The cart lists line items with quantity, price, subtotal, and KOT checkbox.
- Adjust quantity or remove items before submitting.
- Apply line or order-level discounts where permitted.
- Tick KOT on items that need kitchen preparation.
- Review subtotal, tax, and grand total before payment.
Other panel types
MatrixDine also offers Mobile POS, Kiosk Panel, and a customer-facing bill summary screen.
- Mobile POS - tablet or phone ordering for table-side service.
- Kiosk Panel - customer self-service ordering screen.
- Customer Bill Summary - live order total on a second screen facing the customer (opened from POS).
- Use POS for the main counter; assign other panels to their specific devices.
