What it is
The Customer Bill Summary screen (Customer Panel) mirrors the current POS cart so the customer can see items, discounts, and the running total before payment.
- Updates in real time as the cashier adds or removes items.
- Shows subtotal, order discount, and grand total.
- Displays branch name, logo, and cashier name.
- After payment, shows amount paid and change due.
How to open it
Launch the customer display from the POS toolbar before or during billing.
- Click the monitor / Customer Panel icon in the POS header toolbar.
- If a secondary display is connected (HDMI customer-facing screen), the browser can cast to it automatically.
- Otherwise, a separate browser window opens for the customer-facing view.
- Keep the customer screen open for the duration of the order.
Setup tips
Best used with a second monitor or tablet facing the customer at the counter.
- Connect a customer-facing monitor via HDMI or use a tablet in kiosk-style stand.
- Open Customer Panel once at shift start; it stays in sync with each new cart.
- Clear the display automatically when the sale is completed or the cart is cleared.
- No separate login is required on the customer screen URL.
When to use it
Improves transparency and reduces billing disputes at busy counters.
- Takeaway and counter service where customers watch the total build up.
- High-volume outlets where verbal totals are easy to miss.
